Vision

It strives to achieve the college vision of 'No.1 employment rate for creative talents,' based on the educational objectives of 'true character education, creative vocational education, fostering a spirit of service and a global mindset.' It also has its own vision of 'producing competent technicians with multiple skills' to boost its employment rate.

Objectives

It has the following educational mission: producing competent machine maintenance, design, and auto repair specialists equipped with creativity and practical skills, given the industrial demands of the real world, through true character education. The following activities are carried out to accomplish the objective: educating each student to obtain at least two licenses; stimulating the department clubs; field trip to related companies and hands-on training; participation in academic Expo.

Features

Producing machine maintenance specialists through Technology Academy Training Project managed by Ministry of Education and Small and Medium Business Administration

Students can obtain ATC Grade 1 and 2 license through its accredited AutoCAD education

Producing specialists in the following areas: machine maintenance, machine design, and vehicle/ heavy equipment maintenance, which are indispensible to the steel industry, petrochemical industry, and logistics industry

Equipped with various training facilities, such as hydraulic room, welding room, CAD/ CAM room, body repair lab, and auto maintenance and inspection lab, and state-of-the-art equipment, including high-speed molding machine and Machining Center

Producing engineers for big corporations such as POSCO (Gwangyang Iron Co.), Samsung Electronics, LG Display, and LG Chem

45% of day graduates land jobs at big corporations from 2011 to 2013 (70% in 2011; 35% in 2012; 29% in 2013)

Special customized education in line with「Gwangyang Iron Co. and Yeosu Industrial Complex의 leading petrochemical companies」 (educating 15 students since 2010)
