Safety Service Group

It has the following purposes: fostering a sense of safety and establishinh a safety culture in the local community; boosting the pride of industrial safety students through volunteering related to safety technology; fosteringthe students' respect for life and a sense of community.

SA Service Group

Goals : Social service clubs are operated under the following goals in line with the department objectives.

Establishing an environment where students can actively engage in volunteering in the local community through steady, systematic volunteering for 2 years in college
Boosting the quality of life of seniors by restoring their physical and emotional health
Fostering good character and a spirit of service through volunteering at social welfare facilities
Pursuing practical education by applying the knowledge and skills obtained through school education to the real world; it also helps with self-improvement

Love-Sharing Service Group

<Love-Sharing Service Group>, a club affiliated with the department of barista and catering, was created when the department of dietary life, the former department, was established in March 1999. The purpose is to share the foods and beverages created by students dreaming of becoming skillful baristas, chefs, and bakers with underprivileged neighbors. The club was named to share love before materials; the members are all the students of barista and catering department.

Dodam Dodam Service Group

'Dodam Dodam,’ a club affiliated with the department of speech pathology, was created under the following purposes: solving issues related to verbal development through language developmental screening tests on children with disabilities, child care facility children, and Multicultural children to detect those with presumed speech disorder among the following area residents nearby in collaboration with local treatment institutions: Gwangyang City; Gurye County; Namwon City; Goheung County; Beolgyo Village; Boseong County.

Hwadongi Service Group

Hwadongi Service Group was created in March 2008, starting with freshmen and expanding to all students. The goal is to “utilizing the college education for the society" and "creating a safe community.” The volunteering activities are as follows: Attaching single alarm-type smoke detectors; supplying fire extinguishers to vulnerable areas; portable sprinkler installation technology support; cleaning the trails of local mountains; fire prevention campaign upon local events; supporting the events of Chonnam National Fire Department. On the 49th anniversary of Fire Day in 2011, the club won a citation from the National Emergency Management Agency, the first achievement among all colleges in Korea.

Beauty Creation Service Group

Utilizing talent for local residents
Improving the college image as 'dedicated to serving local residents'
Beauty services for females with disability and seniors
Improving the lives of seniors and disabled individuals through beauty services by improving their looks and image
Beauty services for pregnant women and children
Improving the emotions of pregnant women and their prenatal education through beauty services

Cloud Child Service Group

Affiliated with the department of early childhood education, 'Cloud Child Service Group' aims to help children with holistic development through volunteering for children receiving little affection from others including parents by visiting 'Sungsinwon,' a welfare facility in Suncheon, based on the department curriculum including the following: physical activities; finger play; reading; origami; balloon art; art and music activities.

New Heart Service Group

Aims to produce nurses with humanity in high demand through the following steps: enhancing the character and self-esteem of nursing students, as they look after those who need their help, based on the spirit of Nightingale, and discover their hidden values; closely collaborating with the local community.

Sobriety Club & Service Group

The Sobriety Club at Suncheon Jeil College aims to increase the self-efficacy and improve the lives of all students and the public through sobriety campaigns and education.

Service Group for Sharing Love

'Service Group for Sharing Love' boasts its long history and traditions, which is open to all day and night students of social work department. The Service Group consists of ‘A Finger,’ a sign language club, and ‘Love for Children,’ a club open to night students. [A Finger] is committed to helping people with hearing loss by acquiring their sign language. [Love for Children] is a club that represents the department of social work, created by the students on their own, boasting its long history.

Chaos Robot Loving Association

It entered robot-related national contests as SFC that represents Suncheon Jeil College through linkage to the education team of college students and adults division of ‘SRLa.’ It has conducted the following activities: making its own robots; building technical skills through field trips to related organizations; volunteering and support upon robot contests; supporting projects related to youth robot clubs in Suncheon city.

Smearing and Spreading / Harmony

Club Smearing and Spreading & Harmony was created to help students with self-growth through rewarding activities, along with academic exploration. ◦ As a volunteering club that participates in local festivals and events, it provides valuable experience to hotel and tourism students, as they apply their knowledge to the real world.

Automotive Study Group

It consists of students passionate about cars under the purpose of testing vehicle performance; it entered the National Self-Made Vehicle Race in 1997 with parts and vehicles they created, based on their knowledge in automotive engineering and mechanical design taught in school.
